Postal Backlash: Boll Replies
It’s surprising how much attention the clip from Postal got that we posted. Or maybe it’s less than surprising, considering the subject matter. Comments up until now include “Uwe Boll Sinks to 9/11 Humor” (Scott Weinberg, cinematical.com), “a new reason to hate Uwe Boll” (Josh Tyler, cinemablend.com) and “it seems that he’s almost wanting to be hated” (Richard Brunton, filmstalker.co.uk). And when a blogger contacted Uwe Boll about what he viewed as “the most repulsive, vile, cruel, inhuman, and disgusting thing a film maker has quite possibly ever done for a laugh” (Rich Dunbeck, richdunbeck.com), Boll surprisingly sent a reply:
Dear Mr. Dunbeck,
who is patriotic? Is Bush patriotic? If yes, then why the BIN LADEN family could leave the USA as the only airplane leaving America on September 11? If yes then why Bush is so friendly to Saudi Arab – even if everybody knows that the Saudis are the financers of AL KAEDA (and not the IRAK etc.)?
What is patriotic? Believing the pr bullshit of a government hired by the weapon and oil industry to initial wars around the globe? I love America for the freedom of speech and the freedom of thinking and it was time with POSTAL to speak up and to break this selfcensorship apart. Bush and a lot of mass media tried to brainwash the public and now all his politic goes downhill because it is not working. Instead of doing something against the global warming he has nothing else to do as to tank multibillions of $ in a senseless war. Would Bush fight in an Irak-War himself? No! So many young americans are dying in a stupid war for nothing – but Bush gets still considered as a patriot?
Don’t think I’m an enemy. POSTAL is a necessary wake up call and we make fun in that movie about everybody. We blame the stupid Islam Extremists as retards and I portrait myself as a Nazi – so there are no rules we are not breaking. Where are the times where a movie like LIFE OF BRIAN was made ?
It was time for POSTAL and you know it and I know it.

I made fun of 9/11 on stage the week after it happened. It’s a goddamn tragedy that movies and television haven’t made fun of it yet. Popular comedians should have been satirizing those “patriotic” used car lot commercials and sickening “God Bless America” signs in the weeks after 9/11. I could go on, but I’d make myself puke. I already feel lightheaded from the heartburn and adrenaline rush as I think about that shameful low point in American history. Americans used 9/11 as an excuse for all kinds of other bullshit that they wanted to do already. The attack did not in any way justify the reaction, and I think that’s a good reason to downplay/ridicule the attack itself. I frankly don’t give a shit about 9/11 and never did.
This post is just more of that same bullshit. You people will take any excuse you can get to make fun of Uwe Boll. The man holds a doctorate and has directed over a dozen feature films, but you insist that he’s a dumbass. That’s irrational. Why don’t you just admit that Uwe Boll is better than you?

Personnaly I think Americans are so upset about that for the simple reason… the attack happened in the USA. I bet my life if the attack happenned somewhere else like in Canada, France or England, most of you won’t give a fuck about it and the story won’t last more than 2 week.
That prolly explain why US don’t give a shit about bombing other ALLIED soldier in middle-east.
